How do I apply my patch test?

1. Tie your hair back and prepare the skin behind one of your ears by ensuring it's wiped clean
2. Protect your work surface using a paper towel then open your patch test kit
3. Locate the two small pots containing hair tint and developer. Unscrew the lids carefully
4. Pour one of the solutions into the other pot. Use the cotton bud to mix both solutions together
5. Take the other cotton bud and cover the tip in the solution
6. Apply the solution using the cotton bud to the skin behind one of your ears
7. Leave the solution on your skin for 48 hours.
8. Check for swelling, redness, irritation or any reaction.
9. You are safe to proceed if none of the above have occurred
10. Please dispose of the patch test after use. The solutions should not be re-used.
